The Genetics Investigation Team has been shut down. Section 17 and the Special Projects Animal Asset Division no longer exist. FDA Special Agent April Flowers and Memphis Police Department Sergeant Jake Jessup have gone their separate ways, each running from a troubled past, and each thinking they had seen the last of mutant apex predators.
